Ashenhurst has worked for almost thirty years within, or intensively interfacing with, the private voluntary sector - recently in executive capacities with The Nord Family Foundation of Amherst, Ohio, and the Metropolitan Association for Philanthropy ( the regional association of grantmakers serving St. Louis, Missouri).
